A Cupcake Queen Always Keeps Her Word

What Would Bacon (and Dark Chocolate) Do?
As promised, I owed the awesome folks at Fratello's in Milwaukee a batch of the Milwaukee Cupcake Queen's Dark Chocolate Bacon cupcakes. Given that I have blogged about these little yummies many a time, I will just share some fun pix and my newest topping. In addition to the usual DELISH cupcake; this time around I baked some bacon with a heap of brown sugar and sea salt to carmelize and candy the bacon. I then snipped the candied goodness into toppings. Many thanx to my southern cooking muse John for the inspiration! I hope my new friends enjoyed their cupcakes; and thanx for making this cupcake queen feel like just that...a Queen!
