'NICFIT' for a Queen

Has the Cupcake Queen met her match? Found the Cupcake King? Perhaps a nemesis disguised as a creative cupcake muse? Or a great new friend, complete with a bad-ass cook's carving utensil tattoo? Regardless, the Queen LOVES a challenge and this new friend (aka the Unknown Cupcake Baker) has CERTAINLY thrown down the gauntlet. Presented to me, earlier this evening...the Marlboro Cupcake with Cowboy Coffee Cream and a Starbuck's Liquor chaser. Good Golly, this thing is fantastic and crazy as hell! SERIOUSLY!

Steeped tobacco mixed into a delicious batter. A luscious and light cowboy coffee cream topping. A rich chaser of Starbuck's liquor. The cake was fluffy and light and had an appropriate delayed buzz in the back of the throat. Since I am a non-smoker, I would not add these to my list of repeat flavors; but I am ALL about trying new things. Plus, as my BFF Bob commented, perhaps these are a way for local bars and eateries to get around the non-smoking laws that are soon to be passed. Regardless...touché to the new Unknown Cupcake Baker. BRAVO!
