Check this thing out. My wonderful intern, Sarah (another Sarah - there are many where I work) graduates from Marquette University this weekend. As a thank you for making her do my bidding for the last 6 months, she brought me this giant cupcake pan from Williams-Sonoma, along with a couple of tubes of Sprinkles cupcake mix. I had seen the Wilton version last week and this big 'ol guy, manufactured by Nordicware, is much more of a hardcore, heavy-duty beast of a pan. Tomorrow is her last day as my intern and her last day before she has her REAL job - in another part of our company. As a thank you for all of her hard work, I decided to bake her the cupcake cake. It is german chocolate. The "sprinkles" on the cake are marshmallows from Lucky Charms cereal - which are sold by the bag at a local cooking shop.

Cute cake/cupcake! I saw the Wilton pan a while back and was very excited about being able to make a cake look like a cupcake but wondered about the quality of the pan. I think I also saw one at Target.com but didn't pay attention to who made it. I'm definitely going to get one!
