ICM:Breakfast - WOW!!!!

DSC01748

Tonight was the big Breakfast challenge for IronCupcake:Milwaukee. BY FAR, our largest group to date.

With 10 cupcakes and at least 50 in attendance, I have to apologize to all if I missed photographing your cupcake or your group. Just a few of the folks in attendance: Tony and Kidd from 99.1 WMYX; Samantha all the way from Chicago!; Sarah and Olivia; Kate and her Cuppie Buddies; Leah and Sweet Beau; Heidi and Margo. WOW, wasn't tonight a blast? With Milwaukee's NBC affiliate on site conducting interviews; it was a busy, tasty night! Yes, the IronCupcake:Milwaukee group are CLEARLY not shy of the cameras and admittedly a bunch of media whores! :-)

Chef Jeff, Sandy & Brendan

It was a sweet treat to get this great shot with Jeff and Brendan, my IronCupcake brothers; who have been in it for the long haul...hard to believe we have had 16 challenges now!

Kate's Rockin' Cupcake Chucks!

A new IronCupcake fan, Kate, wore her awesome chocolate Chuck Taylors - she is an avid reader of the blog and revealed herself tonight to enjoy the fun!

Aimee does the math!

As always, these nights would not be a success without Aimee and her trusty adding machine. She adds up those ballots like no one else...does that make her the TallyHo??? ha ha ha...Sarah, that was your line!

Corey & that Coat!

Corey came out of the kitchen and into the judging pool. Good God...Would you get a load of that coat! :-)

Ann! Caught on Film!

Ann has been a huge supporter of IronCupcake:Milwaukee for a while now and has somehow avoided the camera - until tonight! Thanks for coming Ann, we always love seeing you!

Shana's Henna Iron Cupcake!

One of our new bakers, Shana, was way beyond cool with her ICM henna tattoos! Sparkly fun!

Jeff, taping for TMJ4

As, I mentioned before, Today's TMJ4 - the local NBC affiliate came to conduct interviews and film the proceedings for a piece that will air on Friday night on Milwaukee channel 4 at 10 p.m.

Our bakers (left to right): Jeff, Shana, Katie K., Katie R., Brendan, Liz, Josh, Susie and me - yeah, I left my photo out!

We had 10 entries tonight - sadly, and with HUGE apologies, I did not get individual shots of them all. With such a massive crowd, I learned a few things about how to handle the masses.

Brendan's FratMuffin Cupcake

Brendan gave us the FratMuffin Cupcake (above) and the French Toast cupcake (not photo'd).

Mimosa Cupcake

Above and below are two of the three beautiful Mimosa cupakes we had on hand tonight. These are Katie K's or Katie R's - but I am not sure which is which!

Another Mimosa Entry!

Brendan's French Toast Cupcake

Mr. Rage Against the Cuisine, Josh, also did a French Toast cupcake, but his kicker was the BACON CUP, inwhich it was baked. Drooooooool.

Sandy's Bloody Mary Cupcake

I went for the morning after effect with my Bloody Mary cupcake - savory, not sweet!

Jeff's Coffee & Donut Cupcakes

Chef Jeff did a Caramel Macchiato and Donut cupcake combination - that is my kind of breakfast!

Not shown are Brendan's French Toast; Shana's Apple Pancake and Liz's Mimosa.

Susie's Breakfast in Bed

Our Winner! Susie, of Susie's Homemade and her Breakfast in Bed! A sweet win, as her daughter was home from college and was in attendance with Dad - so the family got to enjoy the win!

Next Challenge: FEBRUARY 9th - TEA
(Peanut Butter has been postponed.)

Oh my GOSH - what a total blast.

Are there links to the TV spots??? I'd love to see them.

Peanut butter, ay? Me thinks I need to get my baking pal Liz involved... I could take that one...

Is there a way to find out the final tallys? Like who got how many votes and how many points and such?
