Looks like our neighbor to the northwest, Eau Claire, beat the big city to the cupcake dream. I came across this site the other day and now I am trying to convince myself that a 4 hour drive is totally acceptable to visit a cupcake shop! I suppose it should come as no surprise that the owner is a California native.

My younger sister goes to college in Eau Claire. I can't believe the number of bakery/cafe/cupcake shops they have. (Okay, it's only like, two, but it's Eau Claire!!) It is my dream to open a place like this in Milwaukee. Maybe if I win the lottery...
