A crazy amount of press buzz and a delicious ingredient were the recipe for success at Monday's WINE 2.0 challenge with Cupcake Vineyards.

To commemorate the 1 year anniversary of IronCupcake:Milwaukee as well as our 20th challenge, Fratellos made a special note of our milestone in this month's wine menu.

After our Easter Morning broadcast, Kidd O'Shea of WMYX and WISN12 brought his mom and grandma to check out the cupcake fun. It was a pleasure to meet them and I am hopeful that we will see them again soon!

Thanks to all the fun press, we have made lots of new friends!

Jenna, one of our newest bakers brought a dreamy Strawberry Prosecco Cupcake with Strawberry Buttercream. Her first showing proved to be a success, as she took home one of the Partner's Picks prizes complements of Cupcake Vineyards!

Brendan liked his cupcake so much, he couldn't leave well enough alone. (OK, actually he gave me a taste and then thought it would be a good display piece.) His Chocolate Cherry Cabernet Cupcake featured our partner wines.

Susie paid an homage to Bakerella with her incredibly tempting Wine on the Vine Cupcake Pops.

Lisa joined us for the first time and brought along a fantastic presentation with her White Raspberry Riesling Cupcakes. Glad to have ya, Lisa!

Liz gets my utmost respect that she can find time to squeeze in Iron Cupcake baking in the midst of broadcasting in Milwaukee and Chicago and running Trivia on Monday's at Bar Louie immediately following our challenges. We love you Liz, keep up the good work! Her Falling in Love Cupcakes were romantic and dreamy with wine and candles, how could she go wrong?

Wow, take a close look at this amazing display. There are CUPCAKES in that WINE BOTTLE! Emily's Blackberry Bliss Cupcakes not only tasted delicious, they brought home the Partner's Pick prize for taste and presentation! For such an accomplishment she got to take home a wine cooler full of 4 bottles of Cupcake Vineyards wine, 2 beautiful Riedel Wine glasses and a cooler to carry in all in. CONGRATULATIONS EMILY!

Sweet Katie brought a cupcake that combined some of my favorite flavors. Her Chocolate Blackberry Merlot cupcakes were irresistible!

Ashley, our big winner last month brought home the popular vote with her Peaches & Cream Bellini Cupcake. She took home a Fratellos Gift Card for her win.

Many thanks to Denise from Badger Liquor and of course, everyone at Cupcake Vineyards for partnering with us for our April challenge. I would also like to thank Brendan, Clarence, Bob, Preston, Katie, Kevin and the entire gang at Fratellos for a terrific year of cupcakes and fun. What started as a little bet between Chef Jeff and I has blossomed into my little baby now known as Iron Cupcake. Something that has shaped a big part of my life and I am thankful.

As our baby grows so do our needs. With that in mind it is time to announce the new home for IronCupcake:Milwaukee. Beginning with our May challenge we will be moving across the street to THE IRISH PUB at 124 N. Water Street. They have one of the best beer gardens in the city and will be hosting us for the foreseeable future. On behalf of Chef Jeff, all of the IronCupcakers - old and new - and myself, we look forward to the next chapter of the IronCupcake:Milwaukee adventure!
