In addition to the thousands of delicious cupcakes to eat; we were lucky enough to have three local artists create "iron" cupcakes, inspired by the IronCupcake logo.
Kendall Polster is known all around Milwaukee for his interesting metal pieces as well as interiors, like Indulge on Milwaukee Street. His ginormous IronCupcake piece was an eye catcher, complete with a sign that read "Please Touch the Art". A bit of a bad-ass, his invitation to break the traditional rules suited both his piece and the overall feeling of IronCupcake! HE has been featured locally and on HGTV for his "Man Cave.

Rory Burke has shown her intellectually inspired works all over the midwest and as far away as Lugano, Switzerland. She is wildly talented and will be an Artist-in-Residence at the esteemed John Michael Kohler Arts Center in the spring.

Chris Leslie has been a working blacksmith since 2005. He chooses to merge traditional techniques with contemporary subjects to create unique pieces that are functional, artistic, and tell a story. A late entry for our event, it was a blessing to introduce him to the mix.
