I am PROUD to announce a very special THREE MONTH challenge partnering with Karen Tack and Alan Richardson of Hello, Cupcake! Join us for the HEARTS FOR HAITI challenge!
Challenge is as follows:
- Visit the Hello, Cupcake site at http://www.hellocupcakebook.com/ to download Hearts for Haiti cupcake instructions, bakesale tips and basic recipe suggestions.
- Hold a cupcake bakesale. Integrate Haitian flavors and/or the Heart for Haiti cupcake design into your sale cakes. Download a Hearts for Haiti flyer to promote your event.
- Photograph your event and post up to 5 images to the IronCupcake flickr pool.
- Donate monies earned at bakesale to a respected organization in your country that is supporting the Haitian renovation efforts. See list at end of post.
- E-mail notification of images posted, a summary of your event and a scan/photo of donation receipt to IronCupcakeEarth@wi.rr.com before 12 midnight on May 17, 2010.
- Winner will be announced on both sites and live at the Hello, Cupcake/IronCupcake:Milwaukee event in late May (date to be determined).
- IronCupcakers from the same area are encouraged to team up for better results.
- Winner will receive traditional IronCupcake prizes listed below PLUS other prizes as they are obtained, including autographed copy(s) of the brand new book What's New, Cupcake - to be released 4/01/10.
FINAL POSTING DAY is Monday, May 17th at 12 noon. All times are CENTRAL time.
